The subject of trees, in black-and-white, unites artwork in two mediums in this new exhibition at Kerry Schuss Gallery. This show combines the small pencil drawings by British artist Tom Fairs (1925-2007) drawn plein air in small pads in Hampstead Heath, with photographs by New York artist David Schoerner (b. 1984) of trees with birdhouses, taken on annual visits to his grandparents farm in rural Sweden.

A concurrent exhibition of paintings by Tom Fairs at Van Doren Waxter, New York runs through February 11, 2023
